hobbies and activities for seniors

In our last blog post, we talked about the measures that we are taking to ensure the utmost safety of our patients during these unprecedented times. We are now going to share what we are doing to help and support our caregivers who are key workers, putting themselves on the front line everyday.

Our Family.
Caring for Yours.

We have implemented a variety of safety measures intended to protect our staff and nurses.

Safety & Protective Equipment

It is vital to us that we ensure the continued safety of our caregivers, in order to do this we are providing additional gloves, bandannas and most importantly,  KN95 masks and face shields, for all of our nurses and caregivers to use while rendering care. We are also reimbursing all of caregivers if in any event they have to buy any supplies out of pocket.

Educational Resources

Training and education has always been a valued and constant part of our business, therefore in a response to the current situation we are facing, we have increased our Inservice training to a monthly basis for all caregivers. This increase in training keeps all of our caregivers updated on the best practices and thes best ways to protect both themselves and our patients.

Employee Feedback

We have also been hard at work with our partnered resource, ClearCare, to create an electronic questionnaire designed to get the vital feedback from our caregivers on how they are coping and what we can do to continue to support them. It is important to us that our caregivers have a voice and can have any worries or concerns they have dealt with promptly.

Support and Incentives

We value the loyalty and hard work of our caregivers at Azalea, many of whom have been with us for many years and we care for all of them and appreciate all that they are doing in these unprecedented times. Therefore management is considering all possible ways to offer help and assistance to our workers, making the most of governments assistance plans at our disposal.

Thank you for your continued trust in Azalea Home Care. Working together, we will all get through this period of time with grace. If you have any questions about senior home care or our response to Covid-19, please feel free to contact me directly at 770-491-7122 or
